Description

Compelling performances are about more than just singing the right notes—they're about telling a story. In this class, students will explore the art of analyzing and interpreting songs to create emotionally authentic performances. With guidance from Mrs Guemmer, students will analyze a medley of songs sung by various leading characters and explore the musical and emotional beats within the piece. Through guided coaching and peer feedback, students will refine their vocal delivery, strengthen their acting choices, and gain experience in singing while deeply connecting with their lyrics. This exciting medley will give everyone a chance to shine in a compelling showcase performance, offering students the opportunity to elevate their storytelling on stage.
