Learn Hip Hop’s funky steps while expanding your dance technique. This vigorous “street-style” of dance is a great way to develop your ability to pick up choreography fast. It’s an approach to dance with a unique technique using dance forms such as break dancing, pop-locking, as well as classic jazz forms to create lively choreography that’s dynamic and fun! We’ll build skills preparing a hip hop medley from MJ the Musical to share at showcase!

CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY-
ATTENDANCE: please make every effort to attend ALL classes. Students missing more than two classes are in jeopardy of not performing at showcase and attendance may affect their role in a show, if they are currently cast in a show.

NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Wesley has been dancing since he was nine years old. He now enjoys teaching and creating choreography. His specialty is Hip-Hop and has competed in many competitions throughout California and the west coast for 3 years while training under a variety of excellent choreographers. Wesley is a CYT alumni and has participated in 19 CYT shows. He has been blessed by the CYT organization in countless ways. Wesley is excited to teach his first CYT class! He is looking forward to getting to know all of his students and hopes everyone will have a great time learning the exciting dance style of Hip Hop!
