Movement is one of the most powerful tools in an actor’s toolbox! Through high-energy theater games, creative physical challenges and a delightfully silly script about a deadpan princess who simply can’t laugh, students will explore how posture, gestures, facial expression, and stage movement reveal character and advance the story. They’ll build essential acting skills such as character development, memorization, scene work, active listening, stage presence, plus expressive entrances and dramatic exits. And who knows, maybe the pitiful princess will learn how to laugh!
