Description

Let's face it. Auditions can be scary. We all get that feeling in the pit of our stomach right before an audition. But when you're prepared, auditioning can be fun! This course is designed to teach students the techniques of a good musical theater audition, including guidance on how to choose an appropriate song, plus how to prepare for callbacks and coldreads. Students will gain confidence in both performing and auditioning for shows at CYT and beyond!


CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY-
NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Allie Palko

Allie has been in theatre and education for over 20 years. She has a bachelor's in theatre from the University of Denver and a master's in teaching and a California teaching credential from Santa Clara University. After graduating college, she ran a high school theatre program in the Bay Area for 8 years as well as teaching 4th grade for 4 years at a Catholic school. She has stage managed and directed many musical productions. She is excited to join the CYT community this spring!
