Description

Ready to put up your dukes?  In addition to strengthening basic acting skills through action/reaction acting, young actors will learn various (and safe!) methods of stage fighting (slaps, slugs, kicks, hair pulling, punches, knapping.) In this physical and fun class, actors will create the illusion of combat while maintaining the safety of the performers at all times!  Make fake enemies and real friends in this energetic acting class!

CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY-
ATTENDANCE: please make every effort to attend ALL classes.  Students missing more than two classes are in jeopardy of not performing at showcase and attendance may affect their role in a show, if they are currently cast in a show.

NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Alyssa Seeley

Starting at age nine, Alyssa began performing in local church shows. She joined El Dorado Musical Theater and for five years took multiple dance, singing and acting classes (including advanced jazz and tap) and performed in numerous shows. At Ponderosa High School she’s enjoyed lead roles as Cinderella in “Into the Woods”, Dorothy in “Wizard of Oz” and Belle in “Game of Tiaras” to name a few. She also directed her first show “Radium Girls”. Most recently Alyssa performed at Sutter Street Theater as well as choreographed shows including “Be More Chill- The Revival” and “Legally Blonde”. In May, 2022 Alyssa graduated from Ponderosa High School and Folsom Lake College with two associate degrees and recently completed her Bachelors degree in Childhood Development from Sacramento State. She plans to continue in theater and to teach dance for many years!
