Some of Broadway’s most powerful songs are sung by kids!  Rise up to improve your vocal skills and make new alliances while singing in groups as well as doing some solo work. Take to the streets, er uh . . ..stage, with Broadway's most mutinous music that will help you become a better vocalist and a better performer. The class will focus on correct posture, breathing techniques, musicality, and how to communicate story through song.  The showcase performance may include fierce-kid-songs like Hard Knock Life, I Know Things Now, Little People, Time to Play and If Only You Would Listen.

CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY-
ATTENDANCE: please make every effort to attend ALL classes.  Students missing more than two classes are in jeopardy of not performing at showcase and attendance may affect their role in a show, if they are currently cast in a show.

NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Thais Doyle

Thais Doyle is a native Californian and was raised in the Bay Area. She graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Music Performance and Music Education with an emphasis in voice, piano and choral music. She went on to receive her Masters degree from Hope University in Southern California in Worship Ministry administration and leadership. Thais has spent almost forty years working in churches as a Worship Arts Pastor; teaching piano and voice lessons and working with bands and choirs of all ages in church, school and theater settings. Thais joined the teaching and directing staff at CYT in 2021 and has since been honored to teach, direct and be a part of the amazing CYT Family!
