What makes an actor believable? Truth! In this class, young actors will learn how to commit to dramatic scenes, creating believable performances in imaginary circumstances. Students will explore realism, emotional truth, physical and vocal choices, and character objectives while learning to listen, respond, and stay present in the moment. Through exercises, games and open scenes, actors will discover their natural acting ability while developing practical techniques, confidence, and the skills to create engaging, truthful performances.
