Description


Jazz provides a great foundation and challenges students to be focused, flexible and poised. Lyrical is a fluid, expressive dance form that blends ballet, jazz, and modern styles and is designed to connect to the music. In this class, students will interpret and express the lyrics, learning how to match the energy of the song with their movements, while increasing their knowledge of basic steps, and improving their strength and style.


CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY-
NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Naomi Hogan

Naomi is a CYT alum, excited to be back! She is finishing up her degree in theater arts from Vanguard University, with an emphasis in musical theater. She has a love for the arts, (both visual and performing) and loves theater, partly because it combines so many different artistic forms. She has been learning, teaching, and choreographing various styles of dance for many years, and loves the puzzle of creating exciting pictures for the stage. Some of her favorite shows she has been in are Tuck Everlasting, the Great Divorce, and Frozen jr.
