(Anticipated APEX EXPO Competition expenses, based on 2023 costs, are listed on the last page of the audition form.)

Students wanting to audition for an APEX Team should register for their first choice alternative class in the area where you want to audition for the show. If cast on an APEX Team, the Class Coordinators will transfer your registration.

APEX stands for Advanced Performer Exhibition and provides training to local students that culminates in a National adjudication and competition experience with fellow talented CYT students from across the Country at the National Conference called EXPO. The APEX Dance Team will participate in preliminary competitions showcasing their work. The top 3 teams from CYT’s across the nation will compete for the winning title during the Final APEX Exhibition at EXPO. 

Students selected for TEAM commit to attending the CYT EXPO in Dallas, July 21-24, 2024 for the APEX EXPO Competition.  


CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY-

NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Jinnae Stuckey

Jinnae Stuckey holds a BA in theatre from California Baptist University and a MA in Education from University of Southern California. She started dancing at the age of three and danced her way through high school. During her college years she worked on plays and musicals in every capacity possible, from house managing to choreographing to being on stage. Since graduating she has created a theatre program for the Boys and Girls Club of Auburn, worked as the theatre director and teacher for Horizon Charter Schools, taught dance at the Conservatory of Dance, and served as the Visual and Performing Arts Specialist at Community Collaborative Charter School. Now she enjoys staying home with her daughter Everleigh and working for Inspire Charter School as a homeschool teacher.
