CYT is celebrating National Dance Day with a Dance-A-Thon!

We’ve got a full night planned with a variety of dance styles, party favors and fabulous music! Each hour is themed and your favorite choreographers will teach you some new moves to put to the music. Don’t worry, there'll be plenty of time for free style so you can show off your own awesome moves too!

You'll work up an appetite, but no worries!  We’ve got your snacks and drinks covered!

And don’t miss out on the incredible raffle prizes. The more you raise, the more tickets you earn!

Cost: Raise $50 in pledges to gain entry into the event! Earn 10 raffle tickets for every $50 raised. See below to start collecting pledges.

  1. Login to your Family User Account
  2. In order to activate a person for the Dance-A-Thon, they must have a profile picture! If they don’t, the campaign page won’t work. Find the person you’d like to activate for the Dance-A-Thon, then under “Tools” select “User Campaigns”. (If they don’t have a profile pictures, add that first!)
  3. This will bring up a new page. On the right, click “Set Up”.
  4. In the new window, switch the toggle to “Active”. Here you can also put in your personal goal amount and a note telling your friends and family why they should sponsor you. Encourage them to help you reach your personal goal! You can update this goal at any time.
  5. Click “Save”.
  6. You will now see “Edit” and “Link” buttons in place of the “Set Up” Button. Click on the “Link” button.
  7. A new window will pop up showing you your personal campaign link! Click on the link. This will take you to your personal campaign page. 
  8. Welcome to your personal campaign! Bookmark the page so you can easily access it and copy the link to share with friends and family. 
Q: Why is the 4-7 age group at a different time?
A: We want to give our littlest students their own time slot so that they don't get lost in the shuffle of the big kids! Our artistic director, Mrs. Hoover ,is going to be the instructor for this group, bringing her silliest props and favorite songs to lead them in fun dances and cool moves! Each tiny dancer will get a special snack bag and fun favors to take home! Mom and Dad, start planning your date night!

Q: What should I bring?
A: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes! Feel free to bring your jazz shoes or anything that you are comfortable dancing in. You may want a water bottle, but all drinks and food will be included in your admission!
