Kylie Raby

Kylie (Ehlert) Raby was one of the two students in CYT Sacramento’s first graduating class in 2013. Since then, she had taught at two summer camps, helped choreograph for Charlie Brown and Little Mermaid Jr., and taught the Stomp! class in Spring of 2015. More recently, Mrs. Raby has become the Camp Coordinator for the past two Summer Camps and has Stage Managed Into the Woods (Fall 2017) and Mary Poppins Jr. (Spring 2018), as well as taught Wiggles/Our Gang in Auburn, a Makeup Class, and a kids stomp class. She graduated in May 2017 with a BA in Music Education from Fresno Pacific University, with an emphasis in Percussion and Conducting. Recently married, Mrs. Raby moved back into town and is now living in Citrus Heights with her new husband. She has been working on her credential and a Masters of Arts in Education through Alliant University (online) and hopes to be the Director of Bands at a high school. Her passion is to educate students in music, and hopes to pursue this in both band and theater.

Gillian Smit

Gillian Smit is excited to bring her passion for theatre and experience in theatrical design to CYT Sacramento. While studying English and journalism at Long Beach State, she took a step back from performance and poured her creativity into designing and creating sets, props, and costumes. A former CYT student, Gillian has assisted with “backstage” classes and continues to work on the sets and props team in Roseville. If you can’t find her at rehearsal, she is probably off somewhere tinkering with tricky props, faux painting boxes, or climbing a fake tree to dress the set.
