EXPO is BACK with a new initiative called APEX. APEX stands for Advanced Performer Exhibition and provides training to local students that culminates in a National adjudication and competition experience with fellow talented CYT students from across the Country.
APEX Dance will have a formal structure that laser focuses on advanced technique and performance standards focusing on ballet and jazz foundations with lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, and musical theater applications. The team will participate in showcase, however, the final culmination of the class is the experience of competing nationally alongside teams from Branches all over the country at CYT’s National EXPO in Dallas, July 2-5, 2023 where they will be adjudicated based on technique, execution, musicality/theme, stage presence and overall performance quality.

CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY:
NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Jinnae Stuckey holds a BA in theatre from California Baptist University and a MA in Education from University of Southern California. She started dancing at the age of three and danced her way through high school. During her college years she worked on plays and musicals in every capacity possible, from house managing to choreographing to being on stage. Since graduating she has created a theatre program for the Boys and Girls Club of Auburn, worked as the theatre director and teacher for Horizon Charter Schools, taught dance at the Conservatory of Dance, and served as the Visual and Performing Arts Specialist at Community Collaborative Charter School. Now she enjoys staying home with her daughter Everleigh and working for Inspire Charter School as a homeschool teacher.

Rachel Trocke is 27 years old and has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She has been involved in theater arts since the age of 3; from local dance recitals to performing arts based schools. She is trained in ballet and musical theater and has been teaching with CYT for 9 years. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her love of the arts with the students at CYT and looks forward to all that God has in store.
