In this class students will strengthen core acting skills, develop character and make new friends in a safe and encouraging environment! Including core elements such as theater terminology, stage direction, blocking, and script and character analysis, this performance based class will put acting skills to the test each week utilizing various scenes from familiar stories.

CLASSES/CAMPS REFUND POLICY:
NO REFUNDS OF ANY KIND OR CHANGES 2 weeks before the first day camp/class begins. Prior to 2 weeks a $25.00 cancellation fee per class is applied to refunds. Refunds are returned to the original form of payment. Camp/class changes are subject to availability. Tuition must be paid in full in order to register online for camp/class.

Denise has worked in musical theater (member Actor’s Equity Association) and as a member of Actor’s Co-op (Hollywood Presbyterian Church). Her leading roles include MOST HAPPY FELLA, INTO THE WOODS, SPITFIRE GRILL, 1776, WEST SIDE STORY, BRIGADOON, and the final cast of GLORY OF EASTER (Mother Mary) at the Crystal Cathedral. She has traveled the world performing on cruise lines. Prior to that, she taught and directed theater at an LA Christian high school, and was a four-time Southern California Educational Theater Award recipient. Currently, she co-owns Ocean Avenue Entertainment, a boutique film distribution company, with her husband Chris, and is mom and teacher to their son.
