Base Face Tutorial

Stage lights drain color. Apply makeup generously to keep from “washing out” on stage.
  1. Apply foundation GENEROUSLY to the face and neck. Make sure foundation comes to the hairline and is blended well along the jaw line.
  2. Apply blush GENEROUSLY along the cheek bones, not in circles on the cheeks.
  3. Apply loose powder with a brush to the face and neck (over foundation and blush) to reduce shine.
  4. Darken eyebrows with eyeliner pencil or like color on make up palette.
  5. Line eyes:
    • Female Characters - Line TOP lash line ONLY with DARK eyeliner.
    • Male Characters (including ladies in a male role) - Line TOP & BOTTOM lash lines with BROWN eyeliner.
  1. Apply lipstick with the kit lip brush- Male Characters (including ladies in a male role) use a neutral color.
  2. FEMALE CHARACTERS ONLY - Apply mascara to TOP & BOTTOM lashes.
